Italian manufacturer Efco has introduced the new 'H' Series of entry-level chainsaws designed for domestic use. These models feature medium power to provide the perfect compromise of performance and economy for pruning tasks around the home and garden.
The smaller of the two models is the MTH 5100 which is powered by Emak's own 51cc 2-stroke engine. The “EasyOn” starting system ensures any user can set the machine running simply and effortlessly, with a minimal number of pulls on the cord. The “primer” facilitates starting even in the harshest climates.
Equipped with an Oregon 45cm guide bar and .325" chain, the chainsaw's compactness, versatility and good power-to-weight ratio ensure excellent cutting performance for any use from limbing and pruning to cutting medium-sized trunks. A fully adjustable automatic oil pump cuts down on chain oil consumption and reduces the impact on the environment.
The Efco MTH 5100 is equipped with numerous safety features including anti kick-back protection and front hand guard. The anti-vibration system fully isolates the handles from the engine reducing operator fatigue. It is just lightweight at just 5kg.
