Webb PT560MM 56cm Petrol Tiller Reviews

Read The Green Reaper Reviews

Maintaining an allotment plot or substantial kitchen garden will become less of a chore with the Webb PT560MM front tine petrol tiller.
A high performance 161cc four-stroke engine drives a series of six sharp and robust steel rotors which will tear through clay-heavy or sun-baked soils with no fuss, reducing them to a fine tilth for planting/seeding and pulling up weeds in the process.
The self-propelled tiller's generous 56cm working width and 13cm maximum cultivating depth alow you to complete the job with top-quality results in no time at all. Widely spaced hand grips confer superb control and manoeuvrability. Height adjustable handles provide a comfortable working position, while the front-mounted transport wheel means you can easily move between work sites.
Also worth noting is the protective guard which prevents stones and clumped earth being projected in the operator's direction.

I put this together relatively easily, put in oil and petrol, and it started easily the first time. After a few minutes I switched it off, starting the second (and third) time was more of a challenge as the recoil starter would not engage - the cord would pull all the way out with no resistance for a few pulls, but then it engaged and started readily. After that, I tried to start it again but there was no resistance to the cord, which pulled all the way out and retracted fully each time. So the machine would not start. In total I used it for less than half an hour before it broke down, and it has gone back for a refund.
