“I have not had a Honda for a long time so was a bit cautious when buying the cb 1000r abs , I am so glad i made the decision it feels like riding a 600 with a blade engine , i changed the standard exhaust and HUGE cat for a small straight through pipe with a Scorpion GPR1 on the back end . Sounds great and gives a bit more on the power band . I am very happy with my choice and would recommend every day of the week .”

“Handling takes getting used to if you are used to sportsbikes as it isn't a sportsbike but ideal as a cummuter, loads of torque and low down grunt, much better with power commander and an Aki exhaust. Brakes are great and grip good, too much power exiting corners will make the front go light and may slide. 38 mpg around town doesn't make it very economical but not hideous. Good on tyres and a practical fun powerful bike.. But I miss my Fireblade”
