“Comfortable bike with very good handling. (not quite supersports handling, but then it's not designed for that). Feels extremely good on A and B Roads. ABS has proven itself useful on cold damp roads, with dozy drivers pulling out in front of me. The detuned Fireblade engine spins up like a turbine. Very torquey. 0-60 and onto 100 comes and goes in no time, front end floats up with ease too.
Exceptionally easy to ride around town and filter on as well.
Ditch the end can, to save a massive amount of weight and improve looks, soundtrack too (MIVV titanium=approx 500/600g, standard approx 7kg)
Only real let down is fuel tank size. Fuel warning starts flashing around 100/110miles which is very disappointing, and the worst of all bikes that I've owned, or ridden.”
