“Oh, mate, amazing bike, amazing commuter, not breaking down while abused, also, i bought it with 53k miles on the clock two years ago. Still going strong. Quite nippy as well, not a supersports bike, but you can keep up with your gang on rideout. I mainly use it as a commuter, so can't say much. but i'm really happy with a bike”
“Smooth power delivery from the 599 cc in-line four engine taken from the excellent CBR F3, only slightly detuned it still revs to 15k rpm (red lines at 13k) plenty of grunt for a mid weight and lots of fun. Suspension fairly budget but perfectly adequate as are the brakes. In terms of bang for the buck still in of the best, in fact I think this is why Honda have discontinued it, they simply weren't making enough of a margin now that sales volumes are dropping due to there being a lot more good bikes in the middle weight class than there used to be.”
“A great, everyday, do most things, bike. I love it and a good bike to get back into riding. I'd like more shove but it's not that sort of bike. I always look forward to riding it and I love the styling, but I know it's a love or hate it sort of look.”
“I'm 5ft 3" so I'm on my tip toes with bike boots on. I also find it quite heavy pushing it off its side stand. Acceleration is good but corners are even better. Bum can get numb after a couple of hours riding”
“the hornet should satisfy everybodies need for a good bike,
plenty of speed, good handling, performance is pretty good
for this size of engine, there are one or to issues i find with it.
seat could do with a bit more padding, the handle bars
could be a little more back towards you, after a while my hands
do start to ache.”
