“Being a Honda speaks volumes. It does what it says on the label. These bikes have been about for years in one form or another. The abs definitely gives you confidence knowing it's unlikely you'll have a high side. Always had honda's and Triumph's. Wish I still had my RC30!”
“The CB600F Hornet is a great bike.
It's very stable and corners well, especially with a bit of increase on the rear preload to help tip the bike into those bends.
For longer journeys, the naked front exposes you to windblast which can get tiresome after prolonged riding...... something which I have cured with a Puig flyscreen.
The engine is smooth throughout the low and mid range, and above 7k on the revs, it gets a really sporty feel which will keep you up close to most 600 sports bikes, sailing way into the 3 digits on the speedo.
Look after this bike and it will look after you. Enough power for longer runs on dual carraigeways and motorways, eating up anything you need to overtake, briskly and safely, and fun, fun, fun on those winding countryside roads.
