The Honda Blackbird is the best all round bike you can get, powerful, great engine, petrol is average for a big bike, it can be heavy to some, but a pleasure to your or go fast.

This is the best of all world's, fast....very even at 164, very rideable and touchable. I feel sorry for all the dafties spending 10k on a plastic missile!

This is my 2nd Blackbird after reluctantly selling my previous one 2 years ago, Worse mistake i made, This one is a keeper now. For the money a Blackbird is one of the best bikes you will ever own, and for the year of bike there really isnt anything out there that can match its pace practicality rider grin factor, can tour Europe or commute, to Sunday blasts around your favourite haunt. The Blackbird does it all and does it all very very well. To get this kind of performance and reliabilty you need to spend thousands on the latest tackle like Hayabusa or ZZR1400, Why when you have so much power for under 2k and in a bike park you still get people looking at it and admiring them. Its a Honda which means 2nd to none reliabilty apart from the usual reg.rec issues but 50 quid will sort that. My advice is, Dont look at one, Just buy it. Ive been riding over 30 years, had the Hayabusas the Blades Gixxer thou etc etc and the Blackbird wins hands down for me. Theres a great following of these bikes on line and you meet the nicest of people on a Honda ;-)

Out of all the bikes I have had, the fuel consumption is very poor. Apart from the very poor fuel return, l am very pleased with the bike.

From my experience the blackbird is awesome on performance, still looks cutting edge even though it coming up 20 years old,and still has the ability to stay with modern bike sallow ing for rider ability.real shame I don't like the riding position, more of a pocket rocket than a sporty tourer, and too cramped in the leg for the taller riders.parts are readily avaliable and relatively cheap, with lots of aftermarket manufacturers catering for these old girls.definitely worth putting risers on,unless you're an out and out racer

I have owned this bike from new and should have probable renewed the bike by now but I find the bike is very comfortable to ride and she never puts a foot wrong whether you are in the country on open roads or if you are in the city the bike is well balanced for any type of use. I will probable renew the bike early next year but I will not trade this one in. I will keep it or put it to the local motor museum.
