“What a load of codswallop!!! The bike IS a big long beast, but with decent tyres it will keep up with most sensibly ridden sports tourers. Yes, the seat is not an armchair, but I can easily empty the tank without getting off now I have an Airhawk fitted. Fuel consumption is about 53 mpg when ridden briskly - Dover to Carlisle 5hrs 40 mins including all stops - just over 400 miles. If I wanted to cross the Sahara, I would not have bought it, but I don't, so the comments about inadequate tank range puzzle me. Who wants to sit on a bike for more than 150 miles?
Above all its built like a Honda is. No rust or problems after 12000 miles, which is a lot more than could be said for my previous bike. However, the bike loses money far too fast. Depreciation means somebody is going to get a really good second hand buy.”
