Brilliant bike for fast trips out. I did a weekend around Scotland Highlands on it and was in agony by the Sunday. Riding position is not suited to crunching miles on a motorway. But for a sunny ride out on a Saturday afternoon its perfect. Agile, frighteningly fast and cheap to buy and insure. Would definitely recommend.

I own a 2002 636 the bike is in amazing condition considering its 13 years old Everything is still tight and rides like new. Even on the track (Snetterton) had a few bits powder coated just to keep them nice overall it's good on the twists and on long runs it's just done 24000 miles

My j1 ninja only got it near end of season but still been out throughout, and obviously winter road conditions mean I need to be very careful but it's been absolutely brilliant. Keeps up with my friends bigger bike easily on back roads, is comfortable up til about the 3hr non stop riding mark then I need to give my crotch a break. Even though it's 14-15 years old, it's runs, sounds and looks so good. Not let me down yet. I'm a regular leg type guy and ride height is perfect also definitely in my opinion the best looking of all the ninjas body shape etc and it's in silver and black, lovely!!! Negatives?? Il let u know if I find any.

Bike is 05 C1H with 30K miles owned for 7 years I've done 29K of those miles. Footrests were lowered using jack up plates in reverse, not managed to touch anything down so far inc trackday at Cadwell and numerous trips to the IOM TT. Allows day long comfort and 300 mile trips without knee ache. Double bubble screen fitted as I'm 6ft. Engine is still good after 30K miles and will not be replaced till next year 2016 with something similar or bigger. Clutch occasionally binds after winter lay up otherwise gearbox is smooth. Suspension is still top notch and handles moore road bumps without fuss. I would buy another Kawasaki.

I passed my test & rode a Yamaha XJ600N, It was a steady ship but this Kawasaki ZX6R is a rocket in comparison. It has not let me down yet....................touch wood!
