“My first road legal bike. Bought new on 0% finance! great deal! Bike is easy to ride, isn't intimidating as a new rider and comfortable for a 600sports bike. It's a great all rounder-ride for hours across the country, go for a spirited Sunday blast or spend the day at my local track Snetterton. On road the handling is assured and comfortable; on the track it's a little soft but still rewarding to ride fast. The 636 engine is a gem and I love it's top end. My ninja is nearly 13 years old and I have yet to have a problem with it. Running and servicing costs are very reasonable. I think it's a great bike!”
“Daft survey, ' is performance and fuel economy good? ' you can't lump things together like that, performance very good, consumption diabolical ie. 35mpg from a 600, well 636cc anyway.
'Braking and handling', braking very good, handling not as confidence inspiring as I'd hoped, maybe me, I'm not too used to the quick steering of a semi sports bike.”
“I love my bike and its great to ride .I don't ride it fast but its good to know that the power is there when you need it.My bike is a j1 so it is about 13 years old but I think it is better looking than most of the newer bike. Was thinking of getting a newer one but decided to stay with this one.”
“I have owned the Zx636 b1h for 10 years . I have done a few trips to Scotland , a trip of over 1000 miles in 3 days and have also clocked up over 20 track days on it . Needless the say it's much more accomplished on the track than touring .It is more comfortable than you would imagine but the wrist and back do take a bit of a battering especially if you are getting on a bit. Keep it pinned and it will take the pain from the wrist but you won't keep your licence long using this method .On the track it has shown a clean pair of heals to a few bigger and more modern machinary . If you want a quick middle weight bike than can handle and brake then for the money you can't go wrong , just make sure you do a bit of limbering up if you go on a decent run.”
“After 9 years of ownership I have recently sold my Kawasaki ZX6r. I can honestly say it was a brilliant bike to own and I would recommend one to anyone looking at buying a mid-range sports bike. However, my reason for selling was purely down to lack of comfort . . . anything further than a short blast and my bum was wanting to jump off for a good old stretch. Being a bit more mature in my years I'm now looking to travel a bit further afield and fancied a sports tourer so I've swapped the Ninja for a Triumph ST Sprint. But I had some great times on my mean greenie!!!”
