“It will tour, it will do track days & it's monstrously fast.
There is only one flaw, no under-seat storage for a lock or chain which is a big oversight from Kawasaki.
Not as good a bike as my sorted 06 ZX12 but the next best thing..”
“I have owned bike from new. I,ve had no fault,s so far. That's at 28,000 miles of hard riding. Fuel consumption between 30 mpg on track day's. 52 mpg on sensible ride with missus. 46 mpg average most tanks. Have found Avon storm xm ultra tyres to be a good all-rounder wet dry cold or track. 9,000 miles before change. Don,t see me changing any time soon.”
“The bike was bought with a Renthal handle bar conversion, this helped riding position and thus handling..having rode the bike from Dorset where I bought it back up to 12 mile north of Manchester, riding fatigue was zero, since been touring 2 up around Scotland finding the power handling and engine efficiency beyond expectations.....being a Motor Mechanic gives me the the authority and knowledge to reflect the quality of the fine tuned machine, would I recommend a ZZR 1400? Wow! Factor as you twist open the throttle will sell itself......Allan....proud owner...”
“fantastic everyday bike, maybe a bit too quick for uk roads as it only doing 4000 revs at national speed limit. rain sun, two winters use and still looks great in green, love it to bits. Will be a keeper”
“For what is meant to be a sports tourer the seat to peg distance isnt very good, after about 130 miles i needed to get off it, other than that the ZZR1400 is awesome!”
“Absolutely great bike, insane acceleration, I've covered 52000 miles with no problems at all. Tyres were a bit of an issue to start with but once I went onto pirelli road angel gt I got good life and great grip.
Overall I am very happy with the choice I made , its a funny bike but good for fairly long distance to.”
