Everything about the bike says quality. It's road handling is absolutely phenomenal, and for a 600 , the acceleration is outstanding, especially for a 20 year old machine. My only gripe is , it still seems to be a track bike due to the position of the pegs, a bit too high in my opinion. The bars could do with being a little higher also. The engine acceleration could do with being a bit slower from idle to around 3.5k. All this would make the Kawasaki 600 my dream road bike.

this is a really quick bike and great fun to ride. It handles really well on the corners too and has the acceleration there when you need it!! I usually get around 120 miles to a tank which is pretty reasonable and it's also cheap to tax and insure.

I got my low mileage ZZR in January and although I have not rode it as much as i would have liked i love it, I love cleaning it as much i love riding it, it has been very reliable and very good on fuel. The old ones are the best!!!!

Excellent handling fuel economy good quick to the point of fast for a 600 but on mine terrible through traffic built up areas but on the open road a real thrill and plenty of poke I think mine had carb trouble so can't actually blame the bike tried to get it sorted at different garages but no joy had to let go in the end sad to see it go one hell of a 600 for speed.

The ZZR 600 E ended it's production run in the early 2000's having begun life in the late 80's early 90's and it does show. The bike is heavy and the standard brakes are crap - most people upgrade to Nissin 4pots from a fireblade which do a decent job of holding back the weight. The bike is well planted and handles well, it's able to hold it's own against more modern bikes but does use a bit more fuel - I get mid 50mpg out of mine. Being tall I do find it a bit cramped on longer motorway journeys but it's not too bad, it's quite a relaxed riding position. in short, budget blast but keep on top of maintenance and enjoy.

Got this bike for 5 mile commute to work... Use it 5 days a week rain or shine! Bike is 24 years old and rides great.. Plenty of power to make the commute fun!! Much better ride than my last bike 600 Bandit (03) plate. Paid £450 .. Best buy ever!!

This bike is pretty much forgotten by people looking for a motorcycle that offers 100hp. Bit bulky looking when compared to modern bikes like the CBR1000 Fireblade. But in the right hands can give most weekend riders a surprise. Seriously let down by average braking and chronic rear shocker that makes the bike loose traction in the bends. In the dry it is ok,but in the wet it becomes a challenge. Hagon shock absorber added to mine was supposed to be an improvement, but is actually as poor as the genuine Kawasaki product removed. With a decent shock absorber the bike would be an amazing machine. Contimotions i felt where like riding with tyres made of cheese, good traction till you got serious on the bends and again it would start to move about, Bridgestones- as the name suggests, the turn to a stone like compound at about 5years old making the bike pitch and alter direction over uneven surfaces, painted lines and cats eyes. .
