I really wanted the mv agusta turismo veloce, but is it 5k more bike than my tracer definitely not, my tracer has been faultless and one year and 7k miles on I don't regret buying it at all, if I was to fault the bike at all it would be the seat which I have sorted out after some trial and error and the brakes I would like to have been a bit stronger but as far as I'm concerned I've finally found my keeper after 6 bikes in 4yrs

After years on heavier bikes, bandits etc i like the lightweight feel of this, from new it needs a new screen, and suspension adjusting to cure speed wobbles, and if i were to go long distance ,id need a new seat, but on the whole its a great bike

Safety. Rear light is too small. and difficult to see in poor wheather conditions. A real problem wondering if you are going to be hit when driving steady in heavy rain on motorways or fast A roads. Back shock absorber neeeds to be adjusted ebery few hundred miles.

Had the Tracer for 5 months now and covered 4,000 miles on it, on a variety of roads and and in a variety of conditions. I love it. Comfortable, quick, great handling, the bike just inspires confidence. Sole gripe is the standard screen creates a lot of noise. Replacing it with a Puig Touring screen has transformed that aspect and I can now sit at 90 mph on the motorway (autobahn of course sir) in complete comfort. Tracer has been totally reliable and I am getting 55 mpg. Bodes well for being economical to run. Fantastic bike at a great price.
