My last Bandit had covered 67000 miles before a Car driver pulled out in front & wrote it off, but I reckon that that engine is good for 100 000 miles plus.

It does what it says on the tin. Its reliable, comfy, good for luggage, touring and ride outs, the 1200 engine copes with everything.

My 1997 bandit is very fast reliable and still a great thrill ride. Parts are cheap (not that you.ll need much of course ), very reliable and robust bike

Reliable, smooth, pulls like a train. A bit of a boat in corners when compared with a sports bike though.

02 plate K1 naked, have owned the bike for 10 years, added approx 25,000 miles to it (3500 on clock when I got it) and it has never missed a beat, only ever failed an MOT on one of the rear bulbs once. has only ever been in a garage for new tyres, new rear shock and services. I was thinking of changing it this year, but the only bike I could think of was another bandit, and since mine is still running as well as it ever did, I think I'll keep it, well for the time being at least. I love it.

Picked up my Bandit for £500 due to damage the bike sustained after a failed and bodged theft attack. Its an X plater, half fared in fair condition, with 20k on the clock. I have replaced the ignition and fork top mount and some other small bits and bobs. The bike runs well and sounds ok with its Micron end can. I am in the process of lowering the bike, front and back, but the cold temp in the garage has slowed me down a bit. I have not driven this bike yet and I bought in last October. My plan is to have it on the road by Easter. This bike is just for enjoyment and to rekindle memories of earlier years when thrashing around on superbikes was considered cool...am a bit old now, so just the sound of an open pipe does it for me now! Will check the Ins price again soon. Cheers Kevin.

I've had this bike for a number of years now and I love just as much as when I bought it. As it happens it about to be repainted and will stay in my stable of bikes for a few more years to come .
