Wish I had bought one when they first came out just love it. Cannot see me parting with this any time soon, had to put a small fairing on because of wind blast. Ride mainly two up lucky? the wife always wants to come with me and there is a load of space on the seat to move around.

I had a Yamaha XJR1300 for 2 years prior to this bike, although a lovely machine the Yamaha was always a disappointment because I was always looking for 6th gear, now I don't have to anymore. The Suzuki is a big muscle bike, looks the part, goes like the wind when you twist the throttle, and handles far better than you would ever think for a big bike. She's quiet, smooth, pulls like a train, what more could I ask for, everything I wanted in a big bike.

Having ridden bikes of all shapes and sizes over the last 36 years this has been one of the best bikes ever. Super usable torque, bombproof engine and very very comfortable. For such a large bike I still manage to get both feet planted on the ground (5ft 9"). Brakes are 6 pot and well needed for a 35 stone bike. It does however require to have a fair amount of TLC if you want it to still look like new as the casings and forks tend to degrade over the winter if not looked after. Resale values remain high as they are still hold a strong following.

Had this bike from new 2003 and I cannot see myself getting rid of it nor exchanging for another model. The GSX1400 isnt the fastest, the biggest, the prettiest, but its a lot of everything, There is nothing in the motorcycle market that I would swop my 14 for.

Fantastic touring bike, Great sitting position comfort and general handling only downs are can be a bit heavy for the twisty roads and can tend to wobble a bit (tail wags the dog) at high speeds with touring Kit on.

Good bike for cruising around on, no good if you want to get on a bit as you have little protection from the wind etc but for what it is it's one of the most comfortable bikes I have owned and looks similar to some of the bikes we rode in the 70's handling OK but nothing like a ZZR for example.
