“My 2008 blazing orange 1050 is the best bike I have ever had.Power, torque, handling its all there.So easy for me to push around in my garage now I'm getting on a bit!.Passing traffic is easy with loads of pull in any gear.Not the most practical bike,but on a sunny day on the open road, who cares about that?Not me!!”
“although an [old!] 2006 model, I love it and have owned it for nearly 5 years. Short and fairly light, so quite easy for me to manoeuvre about in the garage. Enjoyed touring in France with panniers fitted, and bag on pillion seat. After-market alarm fitted when I bought it seems to drain the battery when bike not used for a few weeks, so may get alarm removed/disconnected on next Service - usually leave it on a trickle charger during Winter months, as like to keep it on the road all year round! Would definitely consider a newer 1050 Speedtriple when I want to change.”
