“This is my first downsize from 1000cc bikes for a lot of years. The light weight, handling, engine flexibility and brakes make this the best most complete bike I have ever owned. I can easily keep up with the bigger bikes and getting on it every day to commute is so much easier. I ride the bike in all weathers and so far the nuts and bolts are all shinny still after 6 months. Long motorway miles are acceptable as long as you keep it bellow 80ish but that's just street bikes in general. The side stand is a pain to get your boot on but you soon get used to it. The R model is a more front end bias and you tend to slide into the tank a lot. Over 8000 rpm, the sound from the triple cylinder engine alone is a reason to buy this bike. I love the way it looks and am a big fan of the new headlights, although a few more modern touches like LED's would have been nice. overall 9.5 out of 10.”
