“Loving it so far, only done 1k miles so just run in. Please I changed to it. Would like to be able to raise bars slightly and not to be forced to lean forward and have seat bit lower but can live with it.”
“As a mature rider who uses the bike for pleasure only, I find the Street Triple R ticks most boxes. As a naked bike, you would not expect much weather protection but the lightness, agility and usable power more than compensates. I have fitted a few extras, such as Arrow exhausts and short adjustable levers which have proved well worthwhile.
In my case, the "R" version is better because of the adjustments available on the front and rear suspension. The standard ride is a bit firm for me but is much better with the softest settings chosen. Obviously a more serious rider may prefer firmer settings for handling reasons.
Low fuel is indicated by a dashboard light which seems to illuminate with about 40 miles left. A proper fuel gauge would be an improvement.
As there is no centre stand , a front paddock stand is invaluable for chain adjustment and cleaning.
Overall ,I love my Street triple R, and would recommend it as an all rounder that will suit both new and experienced riders alike.”
