“For a 2008 bike my Tiger is still in good nick.
Very comfortable to ride due to gel seat.
Great 1050 triple engine. Handles well. Stops well too.
You need to be quite tall as seat height could rule out short riders.”
“I have owned my Triumph Tiger 1050 for 7 years, I bought her second hand at three years old. I test drove a great many bikes and this one just did what I wanted and felt amazing, it has a lovely sound and rides beautifully. for a big lad of 18 stone and 6ft 1 it does the job and most importantly it just puts a smile on my face. sadly I have had my fair share of issues with the bike and had the dealer I used had any idea of which end of a spanner did what I think they would be minor problems. sadly however having had a total re-build I had to do the job myself to find that despite being charged for it the head had not been skimmed. So the bike is awesome, I have ridden it this year, I do about 20,000.00 across three bikes and this is my go to feel good machine. shame Triumph are not more selective about there dealers”
“Terrible bike. Built on a shoestring. Useless brakes, suspension like a pogo stick.chassis bucks and twists like a fairground ride. Engine take off harsh and wind blast leaves you hanging on for dear life. Worse bike I've ever ridden”
