Engine very flexible so gear selection is easy.

“Does what it says on the tin, great for long rides both home and abroad, handles well on open roads and has the power when needed, likewise on mountain roads or simply nipping across town. It's comfortable on long rides, reliable, and has yet to let me down, and it looks good. The fuel tank has a comfortable 150 mile range (fully loaded with tank bag) between fills. It has great luggage space for two week trips. In short it's a great all rounder, but shines on long trips, in all weathers.”
