“I was after a bike that was a great all-rounder, and certainly found it in the xjr1300. It can cruise along very comfortably but the large amount of torque will have you smiling with some impressive acceleration. It's a very forgiving bike, unlikely to catch you out, so don't be put off of you've only been riding a short time. Only draw back is that it is a heavy lump to push, once it's moving it feels very stable and planted; not as nimble as say a 600. Stick an after market can on and head for the tunnels.”
