“I did not purchase the bike in the end too many owners also times are hard!!!!! so I will stick with the Bikes I have. Now we are proposing to get out EU I have zero confidence and will not be spending my money Hopefully Scotland will separate frown the UK at which time I will look at moving there .”
“Best value for money I ever had on a bike. The bike is a superb ride, although not a lightweight the handling is easy and precise. The engine is a dream. Surprises me again and again with it's torque and power and the total lack of any nastyness. Well, the back tyre doesn't live very long. I use it up in 3000mls. That might be the only negative aspect if there is any at all. I couldn't think of a better Motorbike even for 1000's more.”
“I'm fortunate enough to have been able to buy the XJR1300 on a whim one saturday afternoon, solely because I liked the colour scheme on it. I hadn't ridden one or reviewed them beforehand, although I'd owned an FJR 1300 a while before. I am renowned for not keeping bikes long, days sometimes, but I do keep bikes I like.......hence this beast is still in my garage. I'm not one for sporting all sorts of luggage accessories on a naked bike, especially one with this sort of presence, but if you liked, this bike would make an ideal tourer, a great long distance bike, power and comfort....a rare mix on a normal bike.
I'll be keeping mine a while and would highly recommend one.
Reasonable fuel economy, good tyre life, reliability, style.......YAMAHA XJR1300.
