“Lovely bike, the best I have ever owned, but I have had to have a replacement engine to continue my ownership (after only 1200 miles)! However, so far the last engine performed well enough lets hope the new one holds together for longer!! Handling is brilliant, well as far as I could tell after such a short time (have to start all over again), but enough for me and I especially like the suspension!”
“Good points first genuinely a pleasure to ride very comfortable with good handling and a lovely spread of power. The traction control and ABS are a real world asset bringing confidence when really on the case or in bad conditions. The brakes are awesome the best I have ever had, great initial bite and good feel. I'm taking this bike over to Italy to tour the lakes region and take in some terrific roads and I think it will be excellent. The heated grips are a bonus I can wear summer gloves with good feel but still have toasty warm hands, always thought they were a waste of time now I wonder how I lived without them. Build quality is good but I don't like the Torx screws some are very small and it is hard to find a quality bit set that doesn't burr them. Now the not so good the engine is very vibey especially at high cruising speed it has improved as the miles build up but I do think it is annoying as it mars an otherwise super ride. The switch gear feels cheap but as it is the same as on the RR it will probably be fine. Mirrors are poor and I find the position of the back brake lever difficult to access. Although the bike mag's say it is a Jekyll and Hyde and can be a bit wild I find it a bit characterless, my previous bike a Ducati 1098 Streetfighter S had loads of character and this feels a bit ordinary in comparison. The quick shifter is a bit sketchy sometimes it works really well and some times it is slower than I can change gear without it. I'm not yet convinced with the electronic suspension I think that a well set-up Ohlins rig would be better but I have not really played with the settings enough to condemn it yet. Overall I like the bike it is fast, comfortable, handles well and great for twisty mountain roads, and when I wring its neck it makes me giggle. 9/10.”

“Brilliant bike. Very fast, precise and beautifully made. Brakes are very reassuring and ABS is a comfort although as yet untested. Sounds great, too even with standard exhaust. Quick shifter is great for fast, seamless upward gear changes. I look forward to riding it every time and miss riding it when driving the car. When considering the purchase, I relied heavily on the reviews printed online, all of whom thought the bike was great and all I can do is agree with them. The only criticism I could possible make is the position of the front brake fluid reservoir which is sited on the handlebars, (much the same as most other bikes), but I would have thought with a bit of creative thinking, it could be positioned to improve the aesthetics of the bike.for example, some custom bikes position the reservoir inside the handlebars or behind the headlight. All in all a tiny criticism for what is genuinely a fantastic motorcycle.”
“Awesome bike with more than enough power, great handling and top quality braking. Build quality is excellent and the exhaust note, even with the standard exhaust is a delight to hear. The bike comes with pretty much every extra so options are limited. I went for the larger screen, HP4 levers and sat nav, all of which have proved to be good choices. Riding position is comfortable, especially when riding in and around town.
I took a long time to choose this bike and each time I ride it, I know I made the right decision.”
