“I had the earlier version of this boot, which I had to buy a size larger than I usually wear. After 2 years the sole of the boot began to wear through so that I had pebbles and water enter the boot.
Compared to the earlier version, this most recent version of the boot is a pure joy. I no longer have to deal with pebbles or wet feet. Also, the re-designed sole gives my foot a more "stable" and therefore secure feeling as I plant my foot. A big improvement, indeed. Plus, I was able to order these boots in a men's size that is equivalent to my women's size.

“Don't get me wrong. I love my full sized Arctic boots, but these are AWESOME! My full size boots have their place but for daily ware in Iowa they can be cumbersome to put on and take off. These things are fast, easy, warm and waterproof. When the snow or mud is deeper I go back to my full sized but most of the winter its Ankle boots for me. I call them my Mini Mucks.
