“While these boots are warm, I'm not thrilled at all with the quality of the rubber. I've been out in the woods about 6 times with them now and prickers have been scratching the camo design away. There is even a deep groove from one pricker. I can see that they are not made as durably as my other mucks. I'm afraid of thorns poking right through the rubber (nevermind the neoprene). I'm been wearing gators over the boots as a protective layer. They also don't fit as well as my other mucks. I'm usually a size 8.5 womens; my other mucks read as 9-9.5. These new ones just say 9 and are pretty tight.
They're nice because they're warm, but for the price, the quality is not there.”
“Was looking forward to warm Arctic Muck boots having had two previous pairs of regular Muck boots. I wore them in temperatures in the teens and 20s and my feet were very cold. Don't know who tested them at -40 degrees but that is not my experience at all. VERY DISAPPOINTED”
“These boots are comfortable, warm and light. I will use these for hunting, I walk a half a mile to my blind and half mile back to camp.
My previous boots, (different brand), had holes in them from sticks. These boots have an extra layer of material that seems that it would prevent this from happening.”
