I returned a taller boot to get these mid calf boots, I like the lower height better. I wore them out in the mud, the blood and the beer and they kept my feet dry & warm. You can't do better than "Muck Boots". I bought these boots from "The Muck Boot Store" the lady on the phone who helped me exchange the first pair showed me the greatest respect and kindness in getting the replacement pair. I want to thank her and the store for having the good judgement to put her in the position that she's in. Thanks Much, Greg.

Bought these for ice fishing. Had them on when it was -20 in the UP and feet stayed very warm. My foot even slipped in a hole while packing up and remained dry and warm. Highly recommend these boots

My husband has three other Muck boots and all fit very well. He got these because he needed slip-proof boots. Unfortunately, these run tighter around the calf and actually got hurt by the boots because they cut into his calf and left a huge red line. He wanted to return them for the shorter version but had already worn them before discovering the problem.

These boots offered no more protection from slipping on Ice than any other boots, or tennis shoes. You have to wear them to realize it. Therefore their warranty would be void per Muck Boots warranty and you're stuck with very high priced boots that are unsafe to wear on ice. I've worn Muck Boots for many years. These are the first to ever not satisfy me.

I live in northern Canada. Ice here on the streets and sidewalks and parking lots is treacherous so I thought I’d give these a try after falling in love with my steel toed Muck Boots. The Arctic Grip soles truly do work on our treacherous winter surfaces. Other pros- the boot is insanely light weight and has a bouncy feeling when you walk. Cons- I think the fleece lining should be a little more bulky than what it is. I am still waiting for -40 C to hit us so I can really see if they will hold up and keep my feet warm during our winters.
