“We purchased 2 pair of the Edgewater II Mid boots. Because one pair had a minor rip after less than a months use, I gave them a 4 star rather than a 5. We have been wearers of Muck boots for years and LOVE the product!!! Customer service on this order was a nightmare! The staff that I communicated with, while they were polite, was disorganized and their assistance was not "consistent"...one would say the return had not been received while the other could give me the date they received the boots. On a given day, they thought they had reimbursed us for 2 pair of boots when that was not the case...it was if they were making up a story as they went along rather than going by the records. One employee confirmed that they work only from home while the other told me that they had an office and she lived very close by. We FINALLY received our replacement pair and are happy to have both pair of boots!! For our next Muck boot purchase, we will go directly to the Muck Boot company rather than purchasing from the "middle man". Muck Boots are the BEST, and we will not let less than excellent customer service discourage us from purchasing more boots in the future!”
“We have worn Muck Boots for YEARS and LOVE them!! We purchased 2 pair of Edgewater II Mid, one pair for my husband and one pair for one of our sons. Within less than a month the "pull loop" on one boot ripped off, tearing off part of the upper rim of the boot. We went through the steps to return the boot but are still waiting on the replacement pair. Had this been an easier, speedier process, I would have said it was GREAT...but we returned the defective pair on January 22, 2018 and have yet to receive the replacement pair! WAY TOO LONG!!!!”
“Pros: Well designed, durable, and the lowered back portion helps keep them from rubbing on my calves.
Cons: They hurt sometimes when the rubber bends in the same spot every time u take a step so I have to switch boots every couple days. The air mesh breathes well and my calves stay dry, however, that does absolutely nothing for your feet. I was hopping these would be a good alternative to regular rubber boots to help keep my feet dry. I drive a concrete mixer and we use a lot of water to wash the truck off but my feet are just as wet as before because of how much they sweat. Stinky rubber boot feet regardless of the air mesh.”
