“My last pair had a slightly straighter opening so it was easy to slid your foot and pants in (did not need to bend down or "pull" them on), these have a top rim that sucks in so it rubs a little on your leg when walking and not as easy to slide on. It may be that it will loosen after wearing for a while, I do not remember how the last pair was when new as they lasted well and it was some years ago I bought them - I kept them going a litle longer with urethane patching. In any case good boot that is why I purchased another pair. Love the treads, not only for the tread itself, but because they are resistant to collecting mud/water and ice and dumping out when you go inside, one of the very irritating things about extra tuffs and some other boots.”
“I've used muck master Hi boots for years to access wetland areas where I like to photograph. I fold the tops down for easier on & off & then fold back up to walk thru the wet & muck. Due to my leaving the boots in my hot truck the bottoms eventually came loose - but my feet remained dry! I decided to get a new pair - on sale! I'll probably try aquaseal to rehab my old pair also. I had room in the boot to add a more supportive insole for my weak arches & find the result very comfortable & supportive even when carrying heavy camera equipment & walking thru rough terrain. A great boot at a great price. I also appreciate that the new boots were exactly like my old pair in size & build. They should serve me for many years.”
