“These boots were very comfortable from day one. They fit well. I bought them for field work in colder temperatures, but was discouraged that the -40 degree rating listed on the website did not pass muster in +20 degree temps. The website caveats that this temp is for being active, which I thought walking (with minimal stationary time) would suffice. The boots have kept my feet warm in 30 degree temps. With these boots I can't pull them through my Filson chaps and now need to put the chaps on first and then the boot. Not ideal, but I can adapt. It may be where I have been working lately, but the tread collects a lot of clay and it is hard to get off. Not sure if the tread could be improved. Overall, I am pleased with these boots and would purchase them again (especially since there is no pink on them).”
“The world's perfect muck boots, hands down. I love absolutely everything about these boots - they are all I expected them to be and more. My favorite feature is the fact that they are completely waterproof! I live in the Wisconsin north woods, where winters can tend to be long and bitter. So the fact that these boots keep my feet warm (without foot warmers!) up to -40 degrees is a huge comfort to me. The price I paid for the boots was incredibly decent, considering the quality footwear I received. When it comes to style and serviceability in barn boots, I have found nothing better.
