This stand is perfect for 55inch Philips TV, not so perfect for a big Hifi. I had to completely remove the back to allow my year 2000 Sony FA50ES amplifier to just about fit in. And after I managed to fit it in, the highest position for the shelf above still comes too low for the shelf to sit above the amplifier. Basically, the stand could have been deeper, and the positioning of the shelves could have been more flexible. The leg of the wooden middle in my stand has frayed a little bit, and I can't remember it being subjected to any force during assembly. Overall, the stand looks beautiful. It is perfect for TV, and those with small hifi units wouldn't have any problems with it. If you have standard size 80s, 90s and early 2000s Japanese hifi, you might need to do away with the back panel.

The delivery schedule was good. However the cardboard box was heavily damaged, which caused me major concerns and worry before opening. But, when I got it all unpacked, there was no damage, and nothing was missing, a good measure of luck considering the condition of the packaging upon delivery. You need to have a chat with your delivery crews, your furniture is too expensive to be getting delivered in this state.
