“Most say “A scabbard is a scabbard. Well this is the farthest from the truth! True North just doesn’t make packs they make the best powersaw scabbard a Sawyer can ask for. This scabbard has thick leather to protect the Sawyer from the hot exhaust pipe and sharp dogs. Generous padding enables the Sawyer to comfortably shoulder his/her powersaw for miles. Three pouches under the main flap allow the Sawyer to pack an extra chain, files and scrench a third pouch allows for a wedge or as I use it for is a tin of Skoal or a cheap 5 pack of Backwood cigars. The bar sleeve allows enough room for a plastic scabbard for protection from a fresh grind on the heavy duty Cordova material and if you want you can slide in a spare bar in case you pinch your bar and need a backup. To say the least this setup is money well spent but most of all you’ll be the coolest looking guy/gal in your stick that all the “Slammies” back at camp will gravitate too.”
