“Great design, it’s really a ripper for space saving and small tanks and for those wanting a filter that’s not very noticeable. Bare in mind won’t work on anything above 5mm glass. The bio balls are well protected from ‘grit n gunk’, uses 5 wts power and is silent. Quality Eheim bio media included.”
“v quiet, not a lot of turbulence , which is what I wanted for my 56 litre shrimp tank. My only query is if the filter foam, not 100% sure my shrimplets won’t get sucked up (would have preferred the filter foam pad had been finer). Be aware that there is no flow regulator, can’t turn it up or down. Fingers crossed I’m hopeful this is going to be ‘the one’ however.”
“Great prices & postage was acceptable. Only complaint was that my filters impeller was faulty. I had to repair it with super glue as the main shaft had seperated from the outer magnet or ceramic (whatever it is) & the pump made a horrible noise because of this. Couldn't be bothered returning it as it was urgently needed for my tank. Would try again purchasing from Techden as their prices are extremely good.”
