A filter with no frills, its easy to install and maintain. I own an Eheim 2226, 2080 and Fluval G6 and by far the Classic 600/2217 is my choice for a canister filter.

Purchased this filter to replace the built in one in the hood of my tank and it has visibly made a difference to the water, now much clearer, and makes little to no noise (you have to strain to hear it). Design is handy having the inlet pipe at the bottom of the filter with the double tap connectors (which when closed and detached only give off a couple drops of water) means you can easily empty the filter when cleaning which other canister filters don't usually have. The green pipes I'm not all that fussed by and aren't that visually impeding as others have pointed out. Not stated on the box but the tubes are at least about 1.5m long (reaches my 1.4m tank with a bit to spare). The instructions aren't the best but it's an incredibly easy filter to set up and prime (doing it manually is quite easy) with lots of videos on how to do it, this is a good one: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_VaDMxWyrc8 Overall a good purchase with a clear difference in water clarity.
