“This is the 2nd one of these I have purchased. They do a good job although you may need some plastic mesh in the top to prevent shrimp from getting into if you have shrimp. Variable pump speed is reliable and creates additional underwater flow. Very quickly clears up all surface scum and debris, particularly on planted tanks with CO2. Delivery from Techden was fast and well packaged, received with no damage. Recommended product and recommend Techden.”

“I love this. It’s a little unsightly in the tank but it does an incredible job of keeping the surface clear. I run it on timer for 2hrs every night and ever since installing I have not seen even a hint of biofilm or even dust. It gets a bit excited with microbubbles though - not an issue in my freshwater tank.”
