I had been trying to cycling a tank that has Amazonia soil and amazonia supplements, and after 2 months couldn't get the ammonia below 2-4ppm or nitrite below 1ppm. Kid you not, after 8 days of using this stuff in a 250L planted (no fish yet), readings were at 0 and stayed that way. You can see the bact colonies when you measure it out. Amazing stuff.
