“First thing the skimmer works really well lots of bubbles and skimate. Having said that it would be advantageous to know before hand the sump water level required. As i have upgraded from an aqua one kit which i now have with most components, the sump level is very high i had to build a 10cm high platform to accomodate the skimmer this is quite high and reduces the room under the base of the cabinet. Most other skimmers give this info and may have had an influence on my purchase. I did try to get this info from the manufacturer with out success. This is a suggestion to help consumers. Having said that i have fitted a drain which helps, the amount of bubbles is amazing compared to what i had and to be honest you cannot hear it operate another bonus”
