AquaClear 20 Hang On Filter - 18-76l Aquariums Reviews

4.7 Rating 6 Reviews
I'm planning on adding a Betta to my 32l tank and the existing Fluval C2 has too much flow. So, I thought I'd try an AquaClear 20 because the specs implied it had half the flow of the C2 when set on the lowest rate. In actual fact when I tested it it didn't seem to be much different. Nothing wrong with the AC20, just no improvement on the C2. I'm going to have to use a baffle or an Fluval Nano internal filter.

An hour after setting this puppy up I had a clean aquarium, and the reviews online only praise this filter, 10/10 would buy again.

The filter had a bit of a rattle to start with like all AquaClear filters. However give it 3-4 days and it will become silent, perfect for a nano tank in a bedroom. Great flow & the ability to use mixed media make it a must have over the more expensive cousin.
