“An excellent upgrade from my old Aqua One filter. Easy to install, quiet and powerful. Big negative for me are the hose rim connectors that only fit rimless tanks or with very slim rim. I had to improvise and use zip ties to hold the inlet and outlet hoses together as I had a very wide rim for lids. My only alternative is to get lily pipes to fit the ribbed hoses which is added cost.”

“Great overall, just have an issue with the corrugated plastic piping that comes with it! Good if you connect directly from filter to tank BUT if you have to put a UV filter in between , as I did, the corrugated pipe does not work as there are only two permanently glued rubber joiners attached to the pipe. Ended up having to use one of the old plastic hoses from previous filter.”
