“Unfortunately, a part of the fish had protruded through the edge of the shrink wrapped plastic bag the fish came wrapped in and the bag leaked. I therefore am not convinced the fish was in the best condition as the plastic bag was not air tight, unlike the previous orders (turbot and dover sole) where the fish was in prime condition. We did cook it nonetheless but were disappointed with the end result.”

Hi Roderick, Thanks for your review. I'm sorry that your Turbot arrived with a failed vac pack. This is not how it should have arrived as the sealed bag makes it more convenient to store the fish in the fridge or freezer without any leaks. It does also prolong the shelf life a little, but as all our fish is market fresh, this should not have adversely affected the quality of the product.
