“At first look the scallops looked disappointing and there was a slight unpleasant smell. I rinsed all the scallops and they all had roe attached which wasn't obvious at first. The scallops were dried off and I used half, the other half well dried and carefully packed and frozen. The result after cooking was better than first impressions, I would buy these again.”

“A little disappointed with these scallops. I doubt they were very fresh, with a slight odour and tacky feel to them. They were pretty small in size, some of them came with the roe as large as the scallop meat to give you an idea. I had to use 5 of them for each starter serving and despite rinsing them well, there was still grit, giving an unpleasant chew.”
