“I am a DIY guy so I prefer to do the assembly myself.
Quality of the product is good.
However I find the instructions too brief and wrong screw was issued for the cable management tools.
Have to wait for seller to send me the correct screw.
Strongly suggest omnidesk to work on a detailed assembly video. A good video can avoid many issues. Of course. Another way is pay extra and let them assembly for you.”
“It's my first time buying an Omnidesk. Overall, it's a pleasant experience. I did run into an issue with one of the screws being stuck. I am not sure if the warranty will cover this. Anyway, I can blame myself for my inexperience.
In terms of using the table, I like how flexible it is! I can adjust it freely to make myself comfortable.”
“TLDR: The table aesthetics is great and its functions as promoted in the description page but this might not be your best purchase considering the Ascent's price and alternative models/brands. If you can comfortable afford it, it is a recommended purchase. Great entry to standing desks if you have the budget but not recommended to "upgrade" if your current standing desk is still functional.
Some things to consider is that motor speed and noise isn't really a priority for me (which the Ascent does really well - an upgrade from the Pro 2020). You won't be adjusting the height often, so the speed and noise is good enough in the 2020 model.
With regards to the app (Omnidesk Life), it seems more like a gimmick (I have no idea why anyone would need so many height presets). It makes one wonder how much of the application development impacted the cost of the table.
Purchasing from Omnidesk was great, support was very quick to help me add on the anti-fatigue mat (which I definitely recommend buying) and the Hestia (only get it if you can afford it, otherwise 3rd party products might be a more viable choice for you) when I prematurely made the order for the table.
My biggest qualm about the purchasing experience is Omnidesk's policy of "estimated" delivery timing, especially if you purchase the on-site assembly option. This is entirely no fault from the logistics team that delivered and assembled my table (very professionally if I may add), Essentially, Omnidesk will tell you a range of 8 hours on the day of delivery and then a range of 4 hours before that start of the 8 hour range in which they would arrive. I'm empathetic to delays and unforeseen circumstances, but 4 hours is no where near an "accurate timing" which is how Omnidesk labels it in the SMS they send you. That's 4 hours you HAVE to be home, which is frustrating when I am pretty much on the move every single day. It is not unreasonable to give continuous updates on a more "accurate" range so that people can plan ahead instead of sitting around for 4 hours (I had to disassemble my previous workstation beforehand to make way for the delivery team in my little room).
Maybe it's the busyness of CNY, but apart from my little rant about Omnidesk's "accurate" delivery timings, the on-the-ground and support people from Omnidesk were awesome. Satisfied with my purchase.”
“The delivery of the table is a huge disappointment. The items was left outside the house, press the door bell and left. End up my wife has to carry the heavy table into the house.”
