“Finish on the solid wood hevea table top is a furniture grade finished top so no additional manual polishing, sanding or staining needed. Time saver. Motor and legs are quiet, strong and stable. I went for 152 cm long table option. 180 would be a nice luxury but we all live in modest Singapore apartments so that length was the most versatile I could accommodate.
I wish the right and left sides of the table after adding the legs provided more default clearance 2 inches instead of one inch so we can clamp things like mike arms or lights on the sides - for a working man’s standing desk this kind of thing should never be a limitation. My option is to reassemble the entire table and drill my own pilot holes to provide myself with more clearance. For now I clamp things on the long edge or the very corners of the table which is acceptable enough.”
“Not for people who can’t stand hairline scratches and cracks. Get something else that won’t have scratches or cracks. Overall still a very good desk 4 stars. 5 stars if it doesn’t scratch easily.”

“I sprung for the Pheasantwood option because I appreciated its beauty and it had better construction than the other options (thicker, and it had support bars and spacers).
Because it is wood there are some inconsistencies in the finish: bits of "holes" and scrapes in the surface of the wood. The live edge is also a bit of a gamble - I wanted a nice "raw" edge but with a flat surface. Alas, mine has completely straight edges but it slopes right where my right arm rests, so it messes a bit with my ergonomics.”
