“I never understood why people would spend hundreds/thousands of dollars on a motorized table or an ergonomically designed one. But there was some serious thoughts given by customers being put into reviewing this type of products made me wonder what the hype was all about as I took everything with a pinch of salt and keeping my options open since Omnidesk isn't the only player around. A simple vision to get a standard desk and chair pulled me into a direction of countless reading and researching hours plus subliminal messages popping around social media. With time, I gained some insights into the potential benefits of sitting/standing tables - at this point I was only fixated with the 'benefits'. Eventually, I settled on Omnidesk Pro after many months of "window shopping" since I consider this to be a pretty hefty investment. But with 5 year warranty? Heck why not?! Its a no-brainer really.
Sturdiness: Very solid since its supported by strong leg base and frame. I packed everything on top and the motors did not flinch at all. Smooth as Lurpak butter.
Design: Modern, clean and classy (I opted for the ergo Eco-bamboo top)
Cable Management tray: The best thing to have (other customers shall concur)
Does it deliver ergonomical benefits? It was slightly above average where the curved ergo design elevated the common lower arm, wrist pains I used to experience on normal shaped tops when typing for long hours. It was subconscious until I felt some difference weeks after usage. Sitting and standing, whichever you like and pump the motors to the height you desire makes a whole world of difference. Really.
I'd recommend the Omnidesk Pro and the add-ons i.e. the RGB lights and multi-plug adaptor if you have the budget. Just makes it really nice and convenient to have. Your money, your choice.
My humble thoughts as a customer, signing out!”
