“First off, I love Marie's general flavor profile - fresh habaneros, tasty vinegar, sweet carrots. To me, it's the same throughout the heat range of sauces, which is good. The Red Hornet is a pleasant, POTENT surprise. I take Marie at her word that she is the person responsible for this cultivar of the Capsicum Chinense species, derived from the Trinidad Scorpion. She is not messing around with this sauce. Her extract-added sauces are delicious, and add a level of heat to the basic flavor profile. This bad boy, however, WILL sting you with no tricks and no carrots. Peppers, peppers, vinegar, salt, onion and garlic - that's it. Yes, there are hotter no-extract sauces. But for fresh, FRESH taste with no gimmicks, this is the best flavor AND value on the planet!”
