“I’m not a fan. The smell was a little strange almost tobacco smell. I found it irritating a little as it tingled I guess working. I don’t have sensitive skin but it seems a little more than normal for it to tingle my scalp. I gave to my son to try out and it seemed more successful for him as he has had a round of dry scalp more then me lately. He scalp health seemed to recover more quickly then with other products. The weather has been dry and then humid each week so it takes toll. I appreciate the dropper for accuracy and would have liked it came with a scalp massager for the price. But overall it is good”

“I was really interested in trying out this product because my scalp gets oily quickly after washing and my scalp is normally pretty itchy. To me this product has a mint aroma which I quite enjoy. I’ve never used a product like this before and I was scared it would weight down my hair or make it appear greasy but it didn’t, it was lightweight and you couldn’t tell that I used this product after washing my hair. This product made my scalp feel refreshed and it wasn’t as itchy. I didn’t notice any extra buildup from the product but felt that my hair didn’t look as greasy.”

However it's suitable for all hair types. I have long dreadlocks which are prone to oil and buildup. The serum helps break down oils ands impurities by purifying and clarifying my scalp. “This is a super natural and balancing hair serum formulated for oily scalps (which I have). This can also help with dry/flaky scalps too. It works on all hair types, I have thin fine hair, but a lot of it! I found that this product helped soothe irritation on my scalp and refresh it like a hair tonic. It didn’t weigh down my hair or look like much of anything after application, very discreet. It has a BHA in it, salicylic acid, which is found in many skincare products. This works to clarify and exfoliate the scalp by breaking down excess oil. It’s a clean product and I do appreciate that it’s non toxic in that way. I’ve been using it for the past month and the production of oil on my scalp has diminished. I’ve also been able to go longer without shampooing my hair. I like that this targets the root problem of oily scalps and doesn’t just strip the natural oils away. All in all this is a neat product and I’ll continue using it on a weekly basis.”
