AHA+ACV Pre-Shampoo Scalp Clarifying Rinse Reviews

4.6 Rating 103 Reviews
As a Beauty Enthusiast, I have tried many products to help pre clean my scalp before a good wash and this one has by far shocked me all the way around. I have thick curly hair that can take long to clean because of buildup. Using the product was sooo simple. I love that they designed the bottle to do the work for you. All I did was turn the tip of the applicator to open it and use the tip to divide my hair as I apply the product to my scalp simultaneously. After applying the product, I gave my scalp a good massage to work it in and could feel my hair being lifted and softened at the roots to remove the buildup. Not to mention it smelled sooooo amazing. It gave off a fresh cologne/perfume type of smell that was pleasing. When looking in the mirror I could physically see the buildup lifted and some on my hands. Hands down I would recommend this product to everyone and buy this again myself. This product is suitable for all hair types including color treated hair. **This review was collected as part of a promotion.

The Rootist Pre-Shampoo Scalp Clarifying Rinse didn't quite meet my expectations. Applying it to my dry hair with the nozzle was easy enough, but after leaving it in for ten minutes and washing it out, I didn't notice much difference in my scalp. It gave me a bit of a tingling feeling but it was nice in a way, but it didn't make my scalp feel cleaner or healthier like I hoped it would. Plus, having to use it once or twice a week felt like a hassle for something that didn't show results. I'll give it another shot over the next few weeks to see if my experience improves. Despite my initial disappointment, I'm willing to give it another chance to prove its effectiveness. Perhaps extended use will yield better results and change my opinion of the product. **This review was collected as part of a promotion.

I have been using this Pre-Shampoo Scalp Clarifying Rinse for a few weeks now, and I am thrilled to share my experience with this product. As someone who colors their hair, I am always on the lookout for products that are gentle on my hair while effectively removing buildup and dirt. This pre-shampoo treatment has exceeded my expectations in many ways.First of all, I love the texture of this product. It is a lightweight, milky consistency that is easy to apply to my scalp. I simply part my hair and apply a generous amount of the rinse directly to my scalp, massaging it in with my fingertips. The product is easy to distribute, and I can feel it working immediately to dissolve any buildup or excess oil. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality pre-shampoo treatment, especially those with color-treated hair or an unhealthy scalp. It is a bit on the pricier side, but a little goes a long way, and I believe that the benefits are worth the investment **This review was collected as part of a promotion.

I have wavy hair so I use a lot of products to maintain it which often leads to product buildup and I felt like this pre shampoo clarifying treatment did it's job really well. It was also super simple to use, the applicator nozzle made it easy to apply to my scalp in small section parts at a time. The only thing I did not love about this product was the smell. I am super sensitive to smells and I am guessing either the lactic acid or the apple cider vinegar ingredients made it smell really sour and pungent. After the first time, I found myself using gloves to put it on and counting down the minutes to be able to wash it off. The results however were amazing. I found that it did its task of cleansing my scalp while not being too drying which is amazing. I use it twice a week and my scalp is still hydrated even though it used to be so dry. Even with it's scent, I would still recommend this to any other wavy or curly haired girlies! **This review was collected as part of a promotion.

I recently had the opportunity to try the AHA+ACV Pre-Shampoo Scalp Clarifying Rinse, and I must say, it has quickly become a staple in my hair care routine. This product claims to gently lift dirt, excess oil, and product buildup from the hair, and it definitely delivers on that promise. One of the key benefits of this rinse is its 9% clarifying AHA blend of glycolic and lactic acids. These acids work together to exfoliate and clarify the scalp, minimizing dry or flaky scalp. As someone who struggles with occasional dandruff, this was a major selling point for me. After just a few uses, I noticed a significant reduction in flakes and itchiness. Another standout ingredient in this rinse is the 3% Apple Cider Vinegar. Known for its clarifying properties, ACV helps remove noxious product buildup that can weigh down the hair and leave it looking dull. I found that my hair felt lighter and looked more vibrant after incorporating this rinse into my routine. What sets this product apart from others on the market is the inclusion of the Rootist's proprietary Rootbiomic Ferment. This fermented multivitamin superfood promotes healthy, anchored roots and a hydrated, balanced scalp. I can honestly say that my scalp feels healthier and more nourished since using this rinse.A potential drawback of this product is its scent. While not overpowering, there is a distinct vinegar smell while using it. However, I found that it dissipates quickly once my hair is dry, so it wasn't a deal-breaker for me. Overall, I highly recommend giving the AHA+ACV Pre-Shampoo Scalp Clarifying Rinse a try. It has improved my hair care routine by providing a deep cleanse without stripping my hair of moisture. My scalp feels refreshed, my hair looks bouncier and shinier, and the occasional touch of dandruff has become a thing of the past. **This review was collected as part of a promotion.
