“I have a super oily scalp, so the Apple Cider Vinegar Clarifying Scalp Rinse was exactly what I need. It is so refreshing and easy the apply. It is a thicker consistency as I was expecting more of a liquid, but I did like the thickness to this. I love the ingredients like the AHA blend and Apple Cider Vinegar, but because of this there is a very strong ACV scent. I didn't mind it too much though. I felt like it was effective with clarifying my oily scalp and helping remove product build up that was stuck in my hair. Because of the active ingredients I was a little worried about a tingling or burning sensation with application, but it was completely free of that! I think this product does a good job with gently clarifying the scalp as it advertises.

“My scalp typically gets oily and greasy after 2-3 days maximum after a hair wash. I typically have to have head bath every 2-3 days to look presentable at work. My role is typically front facing so this counts into presentation. For this usually i take hair wash every other day. When this product arrived, i tried on the very same night to check if this really does what it claims. And to my surprise yes it does. The hair quality after wash is pretty much the same, it didn't affect my look of the hair, or frizz or damage. But it cleansed my hair more deeper. This time after the hair wash i could actually wait for 4-5 days until the next buildup that is actually visible. This helped me plan my days better and I could have a good hair day for longer than usual. The image shows my hair after 3 days of wash and it is still as fresh as new. This is unbelievable and incredible for me!

“Discovering The Rootist AHA+ACV Pre-Shampoo Scalp Clarifying Rinse was something I didn't expect as I'd never tried a re-shampoo scalp rinses before. I was pleasantly surprised by the tingling sensation it provided and how clean it made my hair feel afterward. This rinse effectively exfoliates and removes excess oil without stripping the scalp of its natural oils. This specifically was a fear of mine as my hair leans more towards dry than oily. Even with color-treated hair, I experienced no adverse effects and it left everything looking fresh and shiny. The blend of AHA and ACV was something I wasn't aware of in other products and left my scalp refreshed and primes it for shampoo and conditioner. I can confidently say I will continue giving this product a shot and will continue to do this as part of my routine when I have an extra 15 minutes for it to soak in!
