“I'm using this mostly on bass as a slightly colored boost. It has a great punchy and lively sound! I'm mostly surprised that it sounds so good with the gain cranked and dialed back. It is similarly well balanced on guitar. I tend to go clean or very fuzzy with my tone. The Benson Preamp has a much more "natural" distorted sound and allows a lot of control in the low gain range. I'm very happy with this pedal.”
