Lemon and Baking Soda: Make a paste using lemon juice and baking soda. Apply it to the tag, let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse with water and dry thoroughly.
Vinegar and Salt: Mix equal parts vinegar and salt. Rub the mixture onto the brass, then rinse with water and dry thoroughly.
Commercial Brass Cleaner: Use a commercial brass cleaner available at most hardware stores. Follow the instructions on the product for best results.
