“Initial impression of the board is how well it is made. Our family is used to those cheaper boards you buy at the gift shops along the beach boardwalks that are cheap styrofome wrapped in fabric, that maybe last a season. This board is well made, you can tell it has a stringer system in the core, with strong foam outer layers. It's very lightweight as well, but feels very strong. My son is around 55 lbs, and he has no trouble controlling this board, and is able to ride the waves very easily. It has a nice wrist strap that attaches to the board. We are very happy with this board, and expect it to last for a long time. It's rated for weight up to 120lbs, so I expect my son will be able to use it for quite a few years!”
